Complaint Details

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your notice that i have purchased Maruti SX4 from one of the authorised Maruti dealer i.e. Karlo Automobiles Pvt Ltd, Boring Road, Patna vide invoice no. VSL07001259 DT 09/11/2007. My vehicle ID no. is MA3EFJC1S00120224.

At the time of the purchase we had paid insurance premium amounting to Rs 20899/-for one year to karlo Automobiles Pvt Ltd and in return we received the Certificate cum Policy Schedule of National Insurance Co. Ltd. Insurance Policy No. is 3194428 and the period of Insurance is from 12:34:49 PM on 09-Nov-2007 to midnight on 08-Nov-2008.

A minor accident of my car occured on 08 - Dec - 2007. When we contacted another authorised dealer i.e Auto Hitech Pvt Ltd ( Code No. 0604 )for getting it repaired under cash free scheme , we were surprised to know that Karlo Automobiles had not yet paid the insurance premium amount to the Insurance Co. As such we were not elligilble for cash free scheme and had to bear all the repairing expenses expenses on our own even after paying the Insurance Premium.

As sales promotional offer Karlo Automobiles had offered accessories worth Rs 4000/- at the time of the purchase of the car but they have not yet given us the accessories even after 2 and half months of the purchase of the car. They have not yet provided us my Owner book , which i suppose that each and every customer has the right to get his owner book.Even i had not yet received the document relating to 2 yrs of extended warrany of my car.

Have been regularly following up with the Manager of Karlo Automobiles Pvt Ltd i.e. Mr Gupta for the above complain but yet my complain has not been resolved.
 

Solution of your complaintMy insurance premium amount should be immediately paid to the Insurance Co. and the insurance coverage of my car should start from the date of the purchase of the car i.e. 09 - Nov - 2007 so that i can receive my insurance claim at the earliest. Secondly i sholud also receive my Owner Book , documents pertaining to 2 years of extended warranty , and the promotional car accessories worth Rs 4000/- asap.  
ActionIf my problem is not resolved then i dont have any option other than to take legal action against Karlo Automobiles Pvt Ltd as well as Maruti Udyog Ltd under MRTP Act and Consumer Protection Act.
