I had purchased a Tata Sky DTH service (MRP 3999) on the 10th January 2008. Apparently the shop I purchased it from named A.K Electronics based in Indiranagar CMH road had convinced me to buy it. After a brief explanation of the product I purchased it. Little did I know that the store owner swiped my card and later claimed that he had run out of stock. However he promised me that he would get the stock the next day and send me the set top box home. Nothing was done. 2 days passed. On the 3 rd day he claims that the Tata delivery truck had a problem. I had no option but to call the Tata Sky people. Little did I know that the lady could help me. she said it was my problem that I had bought the product myself and I had to deal with the dealer. I mean can you believe it? I pay for something, dont get it, the shop blames Tata Sky and Tata sky has nothing to say about it! pathetic customer service!

All she had to say was a big sorry for the mess and atleast show me that Tata actually takes care of their customers, but no, they dont do that
As for the shop , AK ELECTRONICS in INDIRANAGAR CMH road Bangalore, please do not purchase anything form there.
Consumer court would be the option, I shall try and involve the Tatas too
