I have got a prepaid connection of Airtel since jan 2007. One day I found that my balance has reduced by a certain amount after I had last checked it although I had made no calls. I thought some of my roomies might have used the phone and so the deduction. I asked them about it and they said they havent. Then I became confused and discussed it with my friends. Few days after one of them suggested that I might have activated some plan and so the deduction but I denied. To check that out I called up the customer care to know the reality and to my surprise the daily decrement scheme had been activated on my number which I never seeked for. I asked them to deactivate it immediately but to no avail. They kept saying things will be done in next 48 hours , next 48 hours, and months passed, but the scheme is still running on my number. After 1 & half months I visited the Airtel Gallary at Ghatkoper to share my problem and they said within 48 working hours it will get deactivated, and so it was again to wait until four to five days again. I waited for 14 days and again visited the gallary, this time the lady named Poonam wrote a mail to the nodalofficer @ airtel .co.in and assured that my job will be done and I went to my room happily, but to no avail again. Even my connectivity to customer care had been stopped and I was not able to complain or communicate also. Third time I was very angry and after 15 days of 2nd visit I visited the gallary again and lost my temper while talking to Poonam and asked how can a brand offer such services. She replied "our servers r down mam". My next question was then how the money deducting servers r working fine and only updation servers r down. She just shut her mouth wid no answer, and assured me again of rectifying the things. Then I did not recharge my number till a week and again recharged while travelling back to home because I was travelling alone and had 2 be in touch wid parents as my train reaches my station after 36 hours of journey at 2.00 A.M in the night. And the most irritating thing was I recharged thrice wid the help of a frnd of 60 each i.e total 180 and was totally in touch wid evrybody while on train. But because of roaming I ended up wid my balance and only Rs. 3.something was left. As the train was late by 2 hours I went to sleep and after getting up at 3.00 A.M tried connect my father and the moment was so disgusting because it had again decremented my balance. I felt like yelling at the airtel People but helpless. I was so afraid of getting down at the station wid 3 luggages and imagining how do I stay in the station if father would not be there as this was the first time I was travelling alone. But my father is very much conscious about me and was ther before time at 3.00 A.M, and I could see him near my boogie at the station. That was the day I felt like shit for using airtel, but had no other choice, as changing d number at dat moment was nt worth. And the funny thing is the scheme is still running on my number irrespective of 100s of customer care complaints, 3 gallary visits, and 100s of DEACT messages. And this will continue the rest of my life if I do nt get rid of dat SIM which I actually wanted to continue wid.
|Solution of your complaint||They just have no solution . They just know cheating on people and making money. I dont think this is only my story, it must be relating to thousands others. And since this number of mine is known to everyone of my frnds and relatives, I didnt wanted to change it, but finally am changing it and taking up Idea. |
