My baby son put my phone in Milk and hence the phone was not operational. I took the phone to Nokia Customer Care at Kalkaji, New Delhi and the technician said it can be repaired completely and gave me an estimate of 2500 RS. I accepted the quote and gave my phone for repair. Once I went to collect the phone, he showed it was turning on and that calls can be made. So I made the payment of 2500 before taxes. One hour later, when I inserted my memory card, I realized that memory card is not recognized and host of other features (Camera, Video, ...) does not function. So I went and asked the customer care service why they did not fix this. For that they were surprised and took back the phone and gave me a new job sheet and said the service will be FOC (I thought that was a good gesture). Now after 5 days I go and collect my phone and to my surprise he says nothing can be done and I have to live with it.
After spending 2500 on a phone which cost me 8499 just one month ago and not to have any function working is very painful. So I have not taken delivery of the phone and the customer service manger who sounded friendly intially was like "take it or leave it" attitude. So now I have spend 11,000 RS and dont have anything for that expect the battery and memory card.
