wish to inform you that I along with three other peoples have purchased and registered a property located at a village called Narganahalli near Devanahally International Bangalore Airport from City Square Private Limited (Formerly known as Happy Homes Limited) at a cost of Rs. 185 per square feet. The said property was registered in January 2005 and I have also received the Khata in my name. Soon after I read the news report in Deccan Herald about the launch of BIAAPA website and also on the very next the report about the frauds in Devanahally, I checked in the website to find out whether my site was approved or not. To my shock I could not find the same. Pursuantly we contacted BIAPPA and were informed that a copy of the approval plan what City Square had given to us is fake. I have also entered into an agreement with City Square stating that they shall refund me the amount paid by me i.e. about Rs. 2.50 lacs including registration and other charges, in the event of any dispute.
But now on approaching I City Square is refusing to pay the amount and they have informed me that they shall obtain the approval. I am not sure what is the legal course that I should take now. Please advise.
