I hold an SBI credit card (4006 6760 1488 3576) and i found to my surprise that the statement of the month of May had a transaction, a health shield policy with Royal sundaram, for which ive never asked for either to royal sundaram or to SBI. When i called up the SBI customer care, i was told to call up royal sundaram for clarification. When i called up royal sundaram, they told me that they have a tie-up with SBI credit cards, and the request for that particular transaction has come from the credit card division of SBI, and they also gave me an option of withdraw from the scheme. As i was not interested in this scheme, i told i will withdraw, and i had another surprise from the royal sundaram here. They told they will refund me only 75% of the amount that was transacted. When i raised a concern for this, i was asked to contact SBI, and when i called up SBI, i was replied back that a complaint has been registered for this (this happened in the first week of june), and i was told that i will be replied back in 3 working days. Right from the month of june, i have been contacting SBI regularly (the point to be noted here is i never got a call from SBI and each and every time i had to call them to know the status), but every time when i call them up, i get a reply that a complaint has been registered(for which there is no reference number), and that i will get a reply in 3 working days.
When i mailed to the e-mail id which was given in the statement explaining the whole problem, i simply got a reply from Mr. H.G Iyer, saying that there is a due of so and so amount (which was nothing but the 25% amount of the transaction + administration charges for that transaction), and that i have to pay the amount immediately. When i asked for the reason, i got a reply that my case is under investigation and he will get back to me soon..(i got this reply in the month of june, and the investigation is still going on that there is no proper solution given to me till now).. Now the total due that is reflecting against my monthly statement is Rs. 4500 (which is the interest amount charged for the 25% of the remaining amount + Fee for payment not made before due date(for almost 7 months). Every time when i mail Mr. Iyer, i ask for a contact whom i can meet in person and get the solution, i simply get a reply telling that my case is under investigation.(i have almost all the mails that i have communicated with this person). 

Solution of your complaintReversal of the whole of the amount which includes the interest of the remaining amount and necessary actions to be taken against the persons who have registered for this policy without the customer acceptance. Strong action to be taken against SBI for authorising a payment without proper authorisation from the customer. 
ActionIssue to be raised in the consumer forum, submitting all the proof of communications made till now.
