I opened a demat account in October 2007 and started
the transactions in November 2007. My account is a
corporate account and I was promised by the ICICI
agent that the brokerage for the transactions will be
0.05% on the transactions but I have been charged
normal brokerage charges. When I checked with the
ICICI helpdesk, I have been confirmed that the excess
brokerage charged above 0.05% will be refunded each
quarter.

I got the above e-mail confirmation sometime in
December 2007 but till date I havent received any
brokerage refund. I called up today (13/02/2008) ICICI
customer care and they have logged a ticket to get the
refund. But I wanted to file a complaint so that no
other consumer gets affected in a similar way.  

Solution of your complaintGet the excess brokerage refunded and also claim huge amount as compensation because of making false promises and taking money from consumers. Also so much stress following up with the ICICI by making so many calls and sending so many e-mails. Also public should be made aware of this so that no consumer gets into trouble like this.
