I am writing this letter after keeping lot of patience and seeing that all my efforts of follow up with SBI BANK going in vain.
I was holding a credit card from SBI Bank. My credit card number was 4317 5751 7650 8795. I was asked to pay Rs 5671 as a final settlement amount in the month of April 2007. I must have spoken to SBI customer executives not less than five times in the month of April 2007. I asked them about the exact amount which I was supposed to pay. I was told that I need to pay Rs 5671/- to clear my entire due and then close the credit card account with them. I asked SBI customer care person to collect cash from my home on 5th May 07. I have a receipt of the same with me. The receipt no is 8157137 and the receipt book no is 163143. The person who collected the amount has signed as Sachin. After this, i destroyed the card as per SBI customer care person had suggested. Despite of this I kept on receiving bills which when brought to the notice of SBI card customer care persons, they assured me of updating my payment details into their system. And when i again spoke to them they asked me to send the receipt of last settlement through fax. The receipt was faxed at the fax no. 01242567131, as asked by the SBI customer care person. If they required the copy of the receipt, they could have also asked it earlier which they did not ask and kept on procrastinating. Though after faxing the receipt, they have not taken any action & have been sending the bill with additional interest charges. So when I again followed up with them, they said that the amount they received as final settlement is less than what is mentioned in the receipt & so the bill with the additional charges have been sent to me. I told them that how can your person give me the receipt of increased amount by taking less amount from me & that I have paid the full amount what was told & mentioned in the receipt. They told me to look into this matter again & take necessary action. But to my dismay, they have not done anything on that thus spoiling my credibility & causing mental agony.

So as a final step I decided to approach you. I request you to kindly look into the matter & help me to get the desired justice.

Solution of your complaintThe written confirmation by SBI Authority about their receiving the payment and closing the account. The written apology from them on the mistake from their part & such mistakes won’t be repeated with other customers. I would also want them to ensure that my credibility not to be hampered which will affect my financial relations with other institutions 
ActionI will lodge a complaint against them.
