i am having two airtel connections no.9892592108(prepaid)and 9867586428(postpaid).i was approached by one farah claiming to represent airtel over my no9892592108 and she sold me a post paid sim card bearing no.8991920711086189900f.her representative called on me in my office and after having obtained my particulars as well as signature in the application form took all the requisite documents-copy of pan card,driving license,residence proof and promised that the new connection with mobile no.as9867592189 would be activised in 48 hrs.needless to add that the connection was not activised even in one week.i tried contactig yur farah(telemarketer)who had given her mobile no. as9892994828 but the no. was reported to be in disuse.yur salesperson had collected rs 800frommeby cheque drawn on corporation bank,nariman point mumbai.yur sales person asked me to issue the cheque in favour of "maharashtra teleservices-airtel".yur sales persons remained untraceable thereafter.imade two visits to yur airtel gallery at fort mumbai.on my second visit iwas attended to by one mansingh who indicated that ihad been chargedrsRs 200extraand assured me that my connection would be activised in the next 48 hrs.he also hinted at some considerationamount which i refused.upon being contacted yur great mr mansingh feigned ignorance of my case and could not be reminded aboutmy case despitemy best efforts.i feltthat ihad completelywasted two hrs.waiting to meet yur guy who is not only insincere towards customersbut also seems intent on greasing his own palms at the expense of unwary customers .i then visited ur gallery at tardeo mumbaibut indtead of solving my problem aperson by the name of abijithinted at rs 500 to saolve the problemover some verification issues which i find to be surprisingsince i had handed over all the documents and was already having two connections. my new connection has not been activised till dateand im fed up of yur emloyees demanding money to get the problem rectified.one of yur persons who visited my residence in my absence even dared toask my son udayan age 13for rs500 for sending a positive report to gety the problem rectified.i would therefore advise you to please refund an amount of rs800collected by yur co. by fraudulent means failing which i shall be constrained to approach the police for being cheated by your co.
