i have been using a Vodafone post paid connection No 9811994958 for last 09 months. I paid my bill of period 24 Jan to 23 Feb 08 of Rs. 771 (Seven Hundred seventy one) vide ICICI BANK cheque number 178305 dated 29 Feb 08. The amount has been debited to my account on 4 March as per my bank account statement. However, Vodaphone customer care maintains that the aforementioned bill has not been paid. Consequently , the services to my number were de- activated. Despite my numerous efforts and requests, the services have not been re-activated so far. This irresponsible behavior of the company has proved great harassment to me. They also threatened that I could go any where and complain in this regard, the number would only be activated when I pay (re-pay) the outstanding Bill of the period mentioned above.
Your hounour, it is my humble request you to kindly investigate the matter and take legal action against Vodafone concerned department.
I further request you that i should be compensated for wasting my precious time, mental disturbance and financial loss occurred in making number of calls from PCO (landline) to request them to re-activate services.
