I am working in Kansbahal Works, Larsen & Toubro Limited. I purchased a Godrej Refrigerator (Model no. GDN 180P ZOP Godrej Ref.) at Rourkela (Orissa) from Authorized Distributor “Dua & Dua”.
Just after two months the lock of my refrigerator is broken. I made a complaint with the Distributor “Dua & Dua” at Rourkela as I have purchased from them. But no service engineer came to attend the complaint. Even after repeated complaints (more than five times) no one from the service center has come to attend the problem. Now I am moving to Delhi. On 29th March I made a fresh complaint and requested personally to attend my problem, as I am moving out of this place by 20th April 2008.
After repeated telephone calls (about 4 calls everyday) one of the Service Engg. visited my house without knowing what complaint I registered. After inspecting the lock he said that the door is to be replaced by a new door as the lock cannot be rectified. Now they are telling, as there is no spares door available in their service center, they have to procure from Mumbai and the whole process will take not less 15 to 20 days. As I am moving out of Kansbahal (15 km from Rourkela) by 20th April 2008, I cannot wait for any action to be executed beyond this date.
I am really shocked to find this type of bad quality service provided by Godrej Service Center (concerned person name Mr. Alam, mob 9937094503) & the Authorized Distributor “Dua & Dua” (Phone no. 0661-2511500 & 2511511). We would appreciate Godrej to step in and help me to solve my problem and want a speedy closure of the same.
