Complaint Details

Dear Sir,

1. I had purchased a Maruti Wagon R LXI ( PB - 08 - AN 9317) from Swani Motors, Jallandhar on 29 Mar 2003.
3. I was thereafter posted to Ahmednagar in 2003.
4. I have been getting my car serviced and repaired at KANKARIYA MOTORS at Ahmednagar. They are the only authorised dealers of maruti in A’nagar ( Their tele nos are 0241-2424819 & 2426497 ).
5. In Jan ’06 while driving the car I heard some noises from the coolant reservoir, on checking I realized that the oil was getting mixed in the coolant.
6. The vehicle was given to the above dealer and I was info by them that the cylinder head gasket has been burned. The veh was repaired and I was made to pay Rs. 2000 for the same.
7. Around 05 days back the same problem occurred and the veh was once again repaired and while taking the test round ( by the dealer) the gasket got burned for the third time. I was thereafter info that the engine is faulty and would be changed and the same would take minimum 15 days.
8. I would request you if the following querries could be explained :

a) The veh is under warranty ( I have an extended warranty of 1 yrs also) , will I have to bear the expenses as I was made to do the first time.
b) If the engine is faulty , why was I made to pay Rs. 2000 , will the money be refunded.
c) Is there a provision in Maruti to provide me with a veh till the time the veh is repaired so that my daily rotine is not affected.
d) I had purchased the veh in Mar 2003, till date no one from MARUTI has cared to call me up and find out about the performance of the car ( not even the dealer at Jallandhar and A’nagar) , WHY?
e) The average of the car had dipped down from 14.5 to 11 in the last 8 months, which may very well be due to the faulty performance of the engine ( while I was under the impression that it may be due to my driving technique) . Who is to be blamed for this loss, will Maruti make good the loss I have suffered ?
9. I would request for your intervention and a positive reply from MARUTI
