i have an airtel no 9890467202, and they have activated the GPRS. from the last 2 months i am requesting them to deactivate GPRS. i visited their office at shankar seth road 4 times also messaged them as per their instructions to deact GPRS. 1st msg was sent on 1-3-2008 at 7:52am to deact the GPRS and received msg from them that it would be deactivated within 24 to 48 hours. but nothing happened. so i called 121 customer care after 48 hrs several times they again told me to send a msg:- GPRSDEACT to 511. i repeated the same thing on 16-3-2008 at 21:26pm and waited for 48 hrs but again nothing happened. my concern is that they are deducting 14.99 rs daily from my balance since GPRS is activated (even though i never used it). the other day again i called them and they promised that this time it would be deducted and also the amount would be credited back to my acct. but nothing happened. i again msg them on 7-4-08 at 17.21pm. in between i kept visiting their main office at shankar seth road, pune and also kept on calling them from time to time. finally i got a complaint no. (which is useless). when i call customer service they do not respond properly, kepp me on hold for longer time(sometimes even 40 mins) and finally disconect my call. the reps are so rude and keep talkin all rubbish which i have noted down all in my small notebook. they have no idea why my problemdoesnt get resolved. maybe the reps are not well educated or do not have info on how to deact GPRS. 1 reason that they always give me is that the system is down and tell me to call back. i am so frustrated and on the other hand cant even stop using this no since all the customers, friends, family have this no. and informing everyone or getting new no will cause chaos since ill have to print visiting cards again. and also will have to bring this notification of no change to all my clients which is very difficult and insulting. the last complaint no that they gave me is 20509040545 on 10-5-08 but is of no use since when i called them today they again repeated the same thing(disconnected my call) without giving any resolution. i am so frustrated right now since i am almost paying them 450rs extra every month for nothing. which again makes me feel very low.
what should i do?  

Solution of your complaintsimple! deactivate GPRS. and also credit the amount back to my acct. (from 1st march 14.99 every day till date) 
Actioni would go to consumer court. which is the last option left for me.
