I have purchased many HP laptops over the years for my company. Just over a year ago, I purchased this HP Pavilion dv6000. It has been a great laptop. The sound in my laptop stopped working in February. I called and talked to CompUSA concerning this issue. They gave me some things to try. I tried them and found that my docking station sound works, my earpiece headphone jack works. I suspect that it is the speakers. I called CompUSA and they went out of business. I called HP and they said "tough".
I can not live without this machine. It is a lifeline to my company.
Would it be possible to send another machine with the means of ghosting all of my contents to the new machine. I can then either keep that machine and send this one back, or I could use that machine until this on is fixed.
It would really help me and I appreciate all that you are designing.
