This is a Fatal Error

My Grievances – 23.05.2008 – I have applied for 998/- Advance rental plan (to convert pre to post paid connection) but so far it’s not been activated in spite of Verbal confirmation from coordinator & from Kunal (Distributor - FOS )

Details of Events - 23.05.2008 - I have received a call from Nitika/Nidhi (91129-2220120), and she explain me the plan 998/- I have confirmed her to send someone and I will complete the formalities. I have received a sale confirmation call from her senior (Kunal - TL – Ad Wood Call Centre (DSA )– Faridabad ) - 91129-2220120, 2220127) immediately and call from Vipul Kumar (DSA - Coordinator) (9313141777, 9210865996) DSA - Faridabad.

1) I was told that if I will pay cash conversion will be done within 6 hrs. So I paid cash. But unfortunately T & C on the back of your SEF doesn’t say so.

2) I was not told that sales person would give me a new sim card for conversation.

Sales person came around 5:21 pm and all formalities were done at 5:47 pm .

Setting my expectation wrong just for the sake of sale – I was told that if I will pay through chq the conversion (From Pre to post paid) will happen within 72 hrs.
This was expectable to me.

This is clearly a case where sales people are setting customer’s expectation wrong just to get one sale.

Who wouldn’t want this plan but the way it was sold but was??????

on 24.05.2008 - I spoke to Mr. Raj (TL ) regarding my complaint at around 1:30 pm. At first the guy bluntly refuse to take my complaint stated that go and check with the same DSA from whom you have applied for new connection (998/- advance rental). Mr. Raj said that provide the new SIM card no. or else they can’t help me. But when I shouted the guy was ready to take my complaint and assured me that he will give me a call with solution within 2 hrs. (complaints id was not provided). But hole day has passed nothing has been done.

Fortunately, I was able to speak with Mr. Vipul (DSA coordinator) he was surprise that my request was not full filled and he promised me he will give me call within 1hr. Again mis- communication. but again fales promises.

on 27.05.2008 - I again spoke to Mr. Thapar (Floor manager (Again fake id) airtel csc) at (8:29 pm on 27.5.2008) registered my complaint and assured me resolution with 48 hrs. on the same day i got the confirmation that resolution within 72hrs.

NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE SO FAR. PLEASE HELP ME.
 

Solution of your complaintACTIVATION OF MY PLAN FROM PRE PAID CONNECTION TO POST PAID CONNECTION WITHOUT ANY ADVANCE RENTAL. THIS WILL CAUSE ENOUGH DAMAGE TO AIRTEL.
