Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the treatment I have received from M/S. Bharti Tele ventures Ltd formerly known as Bharti Cellular Ltd. 103-100379379 was my customer ID and my Phone number was 9840741641. I had got this connection along with 12 other employees of Syntel as a Corporate Connection through Mr. Sathya of Bluetel (Airtel Agency) Adambakkam in the month of December 2004.

We had requested them for SME 4 billing plan from the beginning. But the bill was continuously billed in SME 3 plan. We had also met the Zonal officer Mr. Murali during the month of March 2005 in this regard. A mail was also sent from Mr. Dinesh Chidambaram from Syntel to Airtel as requested by Mr. Murali. He had promised to make the adjustments and the plan would be changed to SME 4 plan from the next billing cycle. But unfortunately it was not done.

As I was unhappy with the service, I surrendered my connection on 3rd May 2005 and received a confirmation mail from Airtel. Inspite of this surrender, the connection was still active. Ever since then, I have been receiving notices from Airtel office asking me to pay the due amount. I requested them to adjust the amount with the deposit money of Rs 500/- that I had paid to Mr. Sathya.

Mr. Balaji of Airtel had confirmed that I need not pay the amount as it was adjusted with the deposit. Unfortunately, adjustments were not done. But now I have received a notice from Vijay Associates asking me to Rs 461.40 before 17.02.2006.

Airtel has no records of the deposit money that I have paid. When I checked with Mr. Sathya he says he has no records of the money that I had paid. I also spoke to the Bluetel office where a lady refused to give me any details and told me that they will not be able to pull out any details since I did not have the bill number. She also told me that she would not be able to get my details, as they have also not maintained a receipt.

A usage charge has been levied in the month of September even after surrendering the connection in May.

Please help me in this regard as such negligence can hamper other users usage.
