I have taken up an ICICI Lomard policy in the name of Bharti Sharma and Saurabh Sharma in May 2008.
We made the payment via ICICI bank Credit Card.
When i received the credit card stament, i was surprised to see that two amounts i.e Rs. 8972 & Rs. 5860 have charged to my account. And when I spoke to customer care department, I was more surprised to know that instead of one policy two policies have issued in my name. I have cancelled the both policies issued by Lombard with the following details:
Policy No 1. 4034/CHC/03561335/00/000
Cancellation No: 1006081407
Policy No 2: 4034/CHC/03616994/00/000
Cancellation No: 1006081418
In view of the fact that I have cancelled by both policies, I was suppose to receive whole amount i.e. Rs. 8972+Rs.5860 back to my account but after talking to customer care department i have come to know that some cancellation fees (approx 3900Rs. )have been charged to me which I am absolutely not suppose to pay because ICICI LOMBARD has done mischief and FRAUD with me by misusing my Credit Card Details and by issuing two policies instead of one without my information.
