I, Cheryl Chapman, had taken a loan for Rs 50,000 from Citi Financial on being promised that my ineterest rate will be 19% and My Monthly EMI Rs 2250 per month through ECS (Citibank) for two years only.



Four months ago When I visited the Koramangala branch the lady at the counter on checking my details said that my APR was 29.9% instead of 19% and that the loan was not for 2 years but 3 for Yrs On asking her for my loan payment form, she asked me to pay Rs.245 and send a mail to the head office for the same. I agreed ..after which I stated that they have cheated me as the APR and term was supposed to be 19% and 2 years respectively.She denied and stated that they had my signature proof on the 29.99% document which was not disclosed to me on 4 of the occasions that I confirmed my APR from Mr.Sridhar/Shashidhar (the loan agent who collected my documents & tortured my life for my signatures) and nor did the Manager approving the loan disclose the same to me....



I was not in town for theh last 2.5 months, and Citibank (my salary account , ECS account) had closed my account for which I am yet to check the reason.Hence payments have not been made for the last two months.



I state that I have been cheated & misled by both the Citifinacial manager and the representatives taht I have deal with... I do not wish to pay the amount that I would never have taken if only I had known then..For the records my payments have almost been made on time assuming I never had this problem......



I, hence request the people incharge to look into the same and help me as I have already started receiving threathings & warnings by Mr.rames (collection officer) at my residence...and he has ill treated my family members as well...!! if this is not taken very
seriously i would have to launch a complaint against collection officer for harrasing me
and my family ..........................
Is any one there to look into this issue

Solution of your complaintAs they have been cheating me for a year i would not like to pay them any ammount  
Actioncustomers are helpless i would definately move to consumer court if there is no response
