I have submitted my ARS BOND certificate No. 33677634, Investor ID No. 203983263 for redemption. But my Bond certificate has been returned with a computer generated (Unsigned) letter with objection details as under: -
YOUR REQUEST CANNOT BE PROCESSED SINCE (AKSENGUPTA) (203983271)WHO IS THE MAIN HOLDER/SECOND HOLDER HAS NOT SIGNED/SIGNATURE DIFFERS WITH SPECIMEN ON OUR RECORDS. PLEASE GET THE SIGNATURE ATTESTED BY BANK MANAGER UNDER HIS OFFICIAL SEAL MENTIONING DETAILS SUCH AS EMP. CODE, DESIGNATION AND RESUBMIT THE REQUEST FOR NECESSARY CORRECTION AT OUR END".
I contacted the Branch Manager of my Bank and shown the letter, the Manger stated that attesting the signature is beyond his perview, more over the payment shall be made by account payee cheque then where is the question of verifying the signature.
I again submitted the BOND certificate but the same has been returned back. I had sent emails to clarify the problem but my mails have not been answrered.
