An Airtel pre-paid connection was subscribed by me on July 5, 2008 vide SIM No.89915231000013717636 and mobile no. +91-9006644913 in the name of Jitendra Kumar. Requisite documents were submitted viz. copy of PAN Card, Bonafide letter from the employer i.e. IDBI Bank Ltd. regarding address proof and it was told that the documents are in order. Thereafter within a week the above SIM was blocked by Airtel office. The service provider could not be contacted till August 10, 2008 because of my busy schedule and being outstation for sometime. On August 11, 2008 the service outlet of airtel at S.P.Verma Road, Patna i.e. M/s. Navin Enterprises was contacted wherein it was told to re-submit the requisite documents viz. copy of PAN Card, Copy of Electricity Bill and an Employment letter from IDBI Bank Ltd. mentioning my present address. All the above documents were submitted and it was told that the above mob. no. will be activated by same day in the evening. However on getting no response from the service provider, the above outlet was again contacted on August 12, 2008 and it was told that my SIM Card has been permanently blocked. It is needless to express the level of anxiety due to this pathetic service provided by Airtel.
