I was customer of Airtel for a long period of time. I had the mobile connection whose number was 9867663489.

I have had airtel for about 8-9 months & paid all dues on time. I also want to bring to your notice that many types of services are activated without any intimation to me & they have charged me for that. Up until today they have never resolved even one of my issues. In the month of July I have made the payment of Rs.500 by cheque no. 307290 dtd. 28/07/2008 though my due date was 30/07/2008. This cheque got lost from Airtel Gallery which is located at Harinivas Circle, Thane. I got the reminder call from Airtel Recovery team regarding my payment. I informed them that I have made the payment & all details provided to them. I spoke to Ms. Manali (contact number 40884537) regarding the same. She asked me to pay by another cheque. I have given another cheque of Rs.200. This cheque got misplaced from gallery. You can find all these details there in customer care system. Then they had asked me to stop this cheque for payment. By the time they had disconnected my line. I have tried to get it resolved many times but not a single update against my complaint from same guys who were asking for payment trice a day.Finally I gave up on them and requested to get my connection cancelled. Their documents say that cancellatioin will take 3 business days but when I called up to enquire about the same, they said it will take 30 days. I have not been using my connection for past 2 months because they seized the service. I am now planning to pull airtel to consumer court for this mental harassment as I am receiving legal notice against the same.

I don't even have the words to express how good these airtel guys are. I can't even remember how many times I had to call up to get my connection
fixed up for one issue or the other. Never could they fix even one of my issues to my satisfaction. Forget satisfaction, didn't even bother to fix the issues at all at many instances. You can understand what are my issues & concerns.

You see, airtel is the best customer service provider. Dealing with airtel is a mental harassment. I have gone through it and am sure lot of people would have had their share.

I wish some of the leading newspapers in the country could print it and let the common man know about the reality of airtel.

It is more than two months of the complaint and no action has been initiated but received the notice to settle the outstanding.

I hope that you will take a positive response to my letter and do the needful.
