Sir, I purchassed one new Maruti Car Alto vide invoice No VSL 08000818 dt 12ay 2008 and Regd No kl 18 D 8923 from Indus Motor show room of Kannur.After first service I noticed that the rear door glass was not moving smoothily and I took the car to the nearest Indus work shop and inspected the vehiclle by the mechanic.They found the real door glass runner was damaged somewhere inside the door and it has to be replaced.So they replaced the damaged runner and charged me Rs 278/-.The vehicle run total 3700 KMs.I surprised that with in the Warrenty period that also just 4 to 5 Months of periods and the veh run only 3700 Km and charging such an amount for the replaced items. I think it is not fare. sir, Normally no customer is able to check each and every parts of the vehicle while receiving the new car from the show room and I think this damage might have occured during the initial fitment stage and this started troubling after running the vehiclefor a few KMs. Generally rear door glasses are not used by any user.Such initial fitments damges will start troubling only the vehicle runs atleast at about 4 to 5 thousand KM that is why the warrenty is given. If the runner was damaged due to any kind of mishandling or forceful actions of the user then u can say the rubber parts r not covered under warrenty so u have to make the payment but here the situations are entirely different. Therefore may I request your kind attention on this matter and kindly issue necessary instructions to the workshop manager to make the repayment to me at the earliest please. By Capt Kunhi Kannan K

You have to take a positive decision and make the repay of Rs 278/- at the earliest.
I can not take any action but I can tell my friends about this and atleast they can aware of such things in their future life.
