Subject : Complaint against Tour operator “ Sojitrawala All India Tours and Travel (P) Ltd.”,Ahmedabad about their hopeless services and delay in refunding the balance train ticket amount .
Dear Sir ,
This is to bring in to your notice that , I had booked my trip to Kerala from “ Sojitrawala All India Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd, Ahmedabad on 30/10/2008 to 11/11/2008.
While booking itself , I had a word with one of their executive Mr. Alpesh (9427627409) for requirement of following facilities :

1. The list of hotels they provide should be specious ,can accommodate 2 –Adult ,1 –child of age 8 years and 1-child of age group -3 to 4 years with one extra bed . with A/C rooms except at hill station places
2. Availability of Jain food during our stay at Kerala.

He had confirmed the same above facility will be available without fail to you .

When we reached to Kerala , the kind of service and hospitality we got from this tour operator was severely unfortunate and hope less .

Major points of complaints are .

1. Poor /average quality of food .
2. Stay provided in cheaper hotels having small rooms
3. stay provided at some locations in other hotels than mentioned before starting the trip .
4. Food was not cooked everyday to take care of 35 people ,everyday some or other eating items were found short with silly reson from tour manager.
5. last 2 days not able to manage the food so he tied up with other tour operator for food this resulted in same food for 2 days
6. everyday, except last 2 days , sand particles found in the food – quality /cleaning of vessels issue .
7. Refund of money provided for train reservations is pending since last 11 days as mentioned below .
8. cutting of 1- night at Hill station and wasting that night in a location where it was not required to save costly hotel expenses at Munnar hill station .
9. failed to manage the jain food at Munnar Hill station
10. No drinking water provided during bus travelling
Every day it was required to tell tour operator to prepare jain food .
On the top of above , they are not providing me my refund amount of Rs. 6152 which is the balance amount of the railway ticket they purchased for me
The breakup of 6152 Rs. Is as follows :
For railway – 3- tire AC I had paid to All India tours and travels as follows :
3600 ( initial amount )
8500 ( for 3- tire AC to Kerala 0
4570 ( for 3-tire AC from Kerala to Ahmedabad )
Total amount given against railway ticket booking – 16670 .
Amount utilized by All India for Railway ticke – 10518
Refund required from All India to me ____ Rs. 6152.
Their executive Alpesh is agreed with above calculations but I am failed to understand the reason that since last 11 days I am following up with them and they are not returning my refund back with one or another reason .
Every time Alpesh is saying that I will come tomorrow or in the night time but he never turned up with the refund .
This is my sincere request to you to fight for me and not only provide my refund of amount – Rs. 6152, also I am requesting the mental harassments charges of rs. 5000 to be refunded to me again the worst kind of service they provided to me.
Total outstanding from All India is as follows :
Rs, 6152 - Refund against the train ticket booked for me
Rs. 5000- for extending worst hospitality and cheaper hotel stay , difficulties we faced
Total = 11152 Rs. From All India tours and travels Private ltd.


 

Solution of your complaintTrain ticket refund to be given to me = 6152 /- compensation for bad service = 5000 total due from company = 11152 
ActionI have written my problem to you to fight for me with that tour operator and get the needful done
