I have bought a videocon television for my grandfather from M/S Sri Krishna Agency located at Shahid Road in Gaya, Bihar on 2nd May 2008.. The CTV has erred for 4 times in last 3 months. My Grandfather have registered a complaint for the first time on 6th September with the shopkeeper who further advised me to go to M/S central Services in Nutan Nagar, Gaya who they said is authorised customer care center of M/s Videocon International. On the repeated request to them they finally sent an executive on 10th September. The executive charged Rs. 900 from my grandfather as his visit and other charges. For which receipt was also not provided.
The TV ran for 1 month. However It had colored patches on it. The TV went blank again in October for the second time and the same executive (Mr. Kanhaiya) visited and corrected the TV.
The TV again went blank on 23rd November. The executive from M/S Central Services. We have also lodged a complaint national toll free number with complaint number SD0040811240052. The TV ws corrected on 24th Nov by the same executive. To our surprise TV was blank again on the morning of 25th Novemeber.
We fail to understand why is this happening to our TV. I am also shocked and shaken by the service deliverable of M/S Videocon, Its dealers & its service center.
How can a tv which is a little more 1 year old can have so much of complaint.We have two more TV of LG in the same home which never had any problem in last 5 years.
May I request the concerned to get the problem cured at the earliest. This TV is only means to entertainment for a 76 year old man. I am sure you will take corrective actions to cure this at the earliest.
