Sub: - Complain regarding refund not received.

On 26th January, 2008 two airtel executives one named Mr. Sushil Kheur, mobile no.9967731565 visited my houses saying they have a new airtel plan of 199. I refused as I didnít want that plan, but they insisted me to hear the plan. So I got ready then after hearing the plan I told them I am not interested in that plan. I tried to refuse them but they told it was the last date of the plan. My cousin with me she insisted that I will take the plan so I got ready. They further told me you are the winner of the sim cards as I was having valid proof. I refused that I will take only one sim card; they convinced me till I was not ready to take two sim cards. Then I took the plan in my name Mrs. Mitali Kulkarmi new no.9987527703 & and my cousins name Ms.Meena Tiwari new no.9987527702. We paid Rs. 600/- each for sim card. After two or three days my cousin told that she donít want the plan as I as was also not interested I agreed her to cancel the plan. We contacted the person who visited my house, he told go to any of the airtel gallery they will take your number for cancellation and refund the money within forty five days. So I visited the gallery near to my office at flora fountain, next to Godrej and Akbarallysí Showroom, Mumbai. I talked to one of the executive in the gallery he told me that u have to pay one bill of Rs. 80/- which you have to pay I agreed I told them to take the bill payment I refund the balance money to me i.e., 421/-. He agreed to this. I again visited the gallery after few days and talked to another person about the cancellation. He told that I my request was sent for cancellation he told I will do that for you. I left the gallery. I donít know the perfect dates when I visited the gallery. These incidents took place in the month of Jan and Feb. I waited for the refund to come but it did not come. Then in the march I again visited the gallery I talked to one of the lady executive named Anna in the gallery she told me told your number has been cancelled on 19th march, 2008 and told there are two bills generated for your number. I was shocked as I had given the request in the month of February, 2008 and the cancellation of the has been done in the month of March and the lady talking about another bill has not reached to my place. There was an argument between me and that lady. She started talking harshly to me. I left the gallery. There after I visited the gallery many more times. But they did not talk to me properly about what is the position of my complaint and refund has not been refunded to me till date. These are the treatment given to the customers. If one bill is delayed they will disconnect the line. But what about customersí money it is not of any value. And why should I pay the another bill which I have not received physically, they are saying that the system has generated the bill, how should I believe instead I agreed to pay the first bill which I have received, in spite of not using the sim at all. Why should I pay money for the bill which I have not received? And about the refund if customers donít ask they will not give the money back. It the not the question of Rs.600/- but it is question of customers belief. They are literally cheating the customers. In these ways they must have cheated many customers by frauds ways and made profit of themselves. I should get my money back within 15 days with interest. It is almost too late. I should have got the refund by the month of April and now it is end of the year 2008. The matter started with the start of the month and should end with the year ending, I believe.
