I am Darshan using Tata Indicom prepaid no. 9250941149. I was happy with this prepaid.
I got an offer call from tata indicom to convert my existing prepaid connection to post paid.they offer me very good plan stating I am offered business 299 plan in which i'll get tata to tata local unlimited calls free, talktime of worth Rs.250 (for which local call would be 50 paise ) and my existing number will be same. For wich i have to pay Rs.600 (100 for SIM AND 500 for security, and they said 500 will be refundable which will be adjusted in my 2 bills)
I was happy to listen all this. i got the Sim on moment when i fill the application form (no.01372761, dated:19/09/08). For all this i didn't have to visit any tata indicom office.everything was done personally from my office.
Now i started to get verificatio call and the truth came to my way, ie
1. Rs. 500 is refundable only after when i wish to discontinue my services,
2. I have to pay Rs.99 to get Tata to tata free local calls unlimited
Even i was agree on these term but in last they told me that my number will be changed. So i refused to get postpaid and said to return my money.
Now i started to get call from customer care that sir please continue with this plan your number wont be change.
So i agreed on this condition also but my Sim was not activated.
I have given documents one more time.
I got a l tata indicom(dated- 29th September,2008, account no 901403799 and del no 9212087268) stating that my no is 9212087268
How is it possible that my no is changed.
I tried to contact customer care many times but from prepaid they dont take post paid complaints and when i call from land line they give me the no of marketing helpline which deals only in new connections.
even on 10th october,2009 i got a message form tata indicom that my postpaid connection is activated and my no is the same ie 9250941149.
I tried to contact post paid customer care but failed.
then i contacted through the post paid sim , the executive said my no is changed to 9212087268.I filed complaint giving my application form no. 01372761.
I was given the complaint no 141450047 with saying this they will take any action within 4 days.
Even online complaint/feed back is not working properly.
i got my bill they have charged too much for SMSs which they promised to be free for Rs.50 per month.
I am still SMSs from tata indicom stating thank you for visiting tata indicom and oyur credit limit is approacing etc etc.
I am still unable to contact post-paid customer care
nodal officers still make fake promises to solve this idspute within 24 hrs
outgoing call have been barred on my phone due to non-payment of bill.
