I had booked flight S2 0704 from Kolkata to Mumbai on 25 Sep 2008 but reached check in counter 10 mins before since the incomming flight from Imphal was late. Then I got my ticket cancelled from the JetLite booking counter on the airport. There he stamped the cancellation and the amount of Rs.1500 as cancellation charges and told that the balance amount will be credited back to my credit card account. Till date I have not got the refund.
When I called up the helpline on 4th December 2008 and inquired about my refund, I was shocked to hear that it has been refunded on the same day I had cancelled my ticked at Kolkata Airport in the evening and till date I have not received any refund back to my credit card. To whom did they refund the money? The receipt number given by executive Mr.Prabhat is 7050490000967 and the amount of refund is Rs.3825/- dated 25/09/2008.
Also thing to be noted is that when I called helpline on 022-30302020 on 2nd December 2008 my ticket with ticket number:7052161032280 was reflecting in the system and was assured of feedback within 48 hrs. When again called up on 4th December 2008 the response was that the ticket is not reflecting in the system and refund has been given.
I am not sure what is going on and if you ever want to refund the amount!
