I have a whirlpool washing machine for which I have entered into a contract for 2 years starting from 14th dec 2007 to 13th dec 2009.The amount for the contract is Rs. 3990 . The first time the machine had a problem was on the 24th Sep 2008 and I immediately logged a call with their call centre and the ref number was BG0808008153. There was no action from Whirlpool. The call was apparently closed at their end without the problem attended to. On making repeated calls to their call centre, another call was logged by their call centre on the 30th Sep 2008 vide ref BG080800900.Yet again nobody visited for repair and this after making several calls to their call centre and also talking to the call centre manager who had promised immediate action. I understand that a service engineer by name Kashif Ali baig from Sai kiran services is supposed to have visited for the washing machine repair as this is what is indicated in the call centre records.I sincerely hope he is not the Mr.India kind of person who can vanish into thin air at his will.
Since there was no action from their end,I was forced to get the machine by paying Rs.2000 by another service centre.
Now again the washing machine has failed and I have logged call with the WHirlpool call centre on the 28th Dec 2008 vide ref BG1208008973. I have not got any response so far.
I am truly tired of following up with the call centre for the repair.
|Solution of your complaint||I want the refund of my amc(annual maintenance contract) money and also the money that I sent for the repair when the machine was in amc. |
