I had purchased Mishti Doi and a set of assorted sweets from this famous sweet shop on 31st night December. This was for gifting, and I gifted my relatives on 1st Jan. Once they had it, they realised it was spoilt and they felt embarassed to tell me the fact, because it was a gift. But they told me on 1st night when I enquired if they had it. I tried to find numbers of the owner and called up on 2nd and the lady who is the owner completely denied that it can be spoilt. I went to their shop and the staff was so unfriendly towards accepting our complaint. I found out another number of the owner and called them up. The owner asked me to leave the box in the store and said he would look into it and get back but didnt. Today when I called him up he completely denied that the sweet can be spoilt. Instead he told me that I have kept it open and its spoilt and refused to even pay back my money. I told him I ll lodge a consumer complaint, but he said he is fine with it and spoke very rudely and banged the phone.
