Dear Sirs,

I had initially booked 06 Tkts on `Indigo Flights- Delhi-Baroda-Delhi, for 03 Passengers, Names: Mr Amit Dewan, Ms Meenakshi Tuteja, Mrs Lajwanti Dewan. Upon cancellation they charged Rs. 750/ per Ticket (as notified, in their itenary), they issued a credit voucher vide Indigo Credit Note & Cancellation No RZERBH-to, as below:

"Cancellation Number RZERBH: IndiGo Passenger(s), Mr Amit Dewan, Ms Meenakshi Tuteja, Mrs Lajwanti Dewan- IndiGo Credit, (

Total Credit 17,550.00;

IndiGo Information
Your IndiGo credit is valid for 365 days.
Cancellation Charge Rs. 750 per person per sector.
This credit can be used to purchase future flights with IndiGo."

But to my utter Shock & surprise, they refused to honour their `Credit voucher, as explained in `letter mailed to them, as under, which is self explanatory, Pl.:
Dear M/S Goindigo,

This has reference to the subject credit/ cancellation No. on booking by goIndigo and subsequent Credit voucher issued of Rs. 17,550/, upon cancellation of the Booking made, using the `American Express gold card No. 3769 165314 82001'.

Today when I had wanted to book the tickets for onward & return for Delhi to Bangalore for 13 & return on 16 th Feb 09, on the strength of my subject `Credit' (Of Rs. 17550/), I was told that that it could not be done (Despite validity of that given for 12 months), on subject voucher, issued only two months ago;

Further to the above Ms Jolly Ravin- on the Reservations (As stated on 9910383838), told me that `she can not send any mail to confirm that the booking can not be done nor that the `money is getting back to the `Credit card holder';

The above being `an unfair trade practice', causing sudden harassment by such `Arbitrary- uninformed', breach of trust, can the customer Dept. let me know the `current status' of the pending amount with them ????

Solution of your complaintThey should compensate me, substantially, for my mental agony, harrassment, breach of trust, due to their `Arbitrary action without any prior notification/ intimation, besides refunding the Amount, immediately with 18 % (Min.) interest  
ActionAs suggested by you, e.g. consumer Courts and or use of RTI Act, for taking such a Stand
