Journey Date: 15-Feb-09; Train No: 0202; Boarding point : Rajamundry ; Destination: Chennai
Birth no: B1/41. Name: K.V.S.AVADHANY

When reached Rajamundry at 6.30 P.M on 15-feb-09, Enquiry Staff told that the above train is late and will reach by 9.40.p.m . After one hr they informed me that the train will be diverted because of accident and will not reach Rajamundry . Few mintutes later they told that it will be reaching at 12.00 a.m (16-Fecb-09) . When contacted enquiry again at 10.00 P.M the staff told me that the train as reached "Duvvada" and will be reaching here by 12.00 a.m . No clarity for the staff on the above train and words were changed very frequently .For every passenger they told the same thing that train will reach by 12.00 a.m Finally when I insisted the enquiry staff regarding some clarity on the train arrival they contacted station master and told me that train will reach by 3.00 A.M . Got so frustated with this as for the last 4 hrs I was made to stand just for information . Had this information of reaching @3.00 a.m was given initially I would have made my own arrangements . The same thing I informed station master and quite casually he informed that train will come by 3.00 a.m and infomed that enquiry has made a mistake in telling that the train had reached "Duvvada"". As a passenger dont I have the right to information atleast ?? I reached Chennai @2.30 P.M on 16-feb-08 and was unable to attend office The staff were not hving any guilt feeling also and were quite casual in replying to me .


Solution of your complaintTain can be delayed for more than 48 hrs or so for various reasons but atleast Passengers should have the right to correct information from enquiry staff . 
ActionWill take it up with higher officials if not resolved .
