I bought two post paid connections from BPL on 12th Feb 2009. I already have an existing BPL number for past 6 months which is on my residential address. I had submitted a copy of address proof as my leave & license agreement which was accepted. For my new connections, I submitted the same documents and I was ensured that the number would be activated since the documents sufficed the necessary proofs. However, I was asked to submit a letter from my employer since the leave & license was on my company's name. I did the same and I was ensured that It would suffice. I was later informed that I would not be allowed a connection since the proofs didnt suffice enough. I was mis sold the service and I have undergone harrasment of awaiting long without activation of my services.
