I am truly disgusted at the way I have been treated as an Airtel Customer.
I recently moved to Banagalore and, like always, applied for an Airtel postpaid mobile phone connection and got the no. 9845385511 on the 6th of Feb. from TeleTalk at Yelahanka, with all the required paper work duly submitted. On the 7th. I got a call asking for the original proof, which too was submitted.After that I have made numerous calls to TeleTalk and the customer service number. Tele Talk kept telling me that my phone couldnot be activated as the server was down.
On Monday 09 Feb.I spoke to a customer service agent Jagdish, who much to my amazement told me that the paperwork was not submitted. I spoke to the floor manager Arvind and he promised to get back to me within 24 hrs. [AM STILL WAITING FOR HIS RESPONSE]On the 10th Icalled again and spoke to another floor mgr. Hemant, who once again made a false promise saying that he would get back to me by 4pm this evening.......and finally i am here. Tele Talk in the meanwhile wanted my address proof on my passport which was provided to them, and once again another false promise was made that the connection would be activated this evening.
MY FRUSTRATION AT THE UTTER LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE BY THE WHOLE SYSTEM HAS GROWN. I AM TRULY DISPPOINTED BY THE CALLOUS ATTITUDE SHOWN BY ALL....PROMISES MADE WITHOUT LIVING UP TO IT.A SERVICE WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED WITHIN 1 HR. HAS TAKEN 6 DAYS WITH NO ACTION TAKEN.
I BELIEVE THAT WHAT THE PEOPLE AT THE TOP ARE PROMISING IS NOT FILTERING DOWN TO THE OTHER EMPLOYEES

ROOPA , A NODAL OFFICER GOT MY SIM CHANGED AND THE SIM WAS DELIVERED AT MY RESIDENCE BY AN AGENT , MY CONNECTION WAS ACTIVATED AFTER 6 DAYS OF SHEER CALLOUS ATTITUDE BY ONE AND ALL....I THOUGHT THE WHOLE EPISODE WAS BEHIND ME. ....BUT ON SATURDAY, THE 14th OF FEB. MY CELL SUDDENLY STOPPED WORKING...AND ONCE AGAIN SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED WAS FLASHED...ON MY CALLING THE CALL CENTRE I WAS TOLD THAT CUSTOMER IDENTIFICATION WAS NOT DONE, SO ALL CALLS WERE BLOCKED..............JUST LIKE THAT...AT YOUR WHIM AND FANCY...HOW CAN YOU DO THIS, IS THERE NO WAY THAT U SHOULD LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW...IF THE IDENTIFICATION WAS NOT DONE WHY WAS IT ACTIVATED IN THE FIRST PLACE. 2 AGENTS HAVE VISITED MY RESIDENCE, AND YET YOUR IDENTIFICATION IS INCOMPLETE.
Roopa got it activated saying that verification would take place,the next day...but to my horror that very evening i got an sms that my cell phone was permanantly being disconnected becaz of lack of verification, for no fault of mine........
SOMEBODY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THIS.....WITH THE MARKET OPEN TO ALL KIND OF COMPETITION, IS THIS YOUR WAY OF SURVIVAL..
A TOTALLY DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER, WHO REGRETS BEING ONE..
