One of the Godrej Executive viz. Deepak (9868059892) and Pyam (9911255075) visited my home with a proposal for customer service. I have a refrigerator, make Kelvinator (170 Litre), 6 years old, which is in a working condition. Your sales executives claimed that I can get the customer support from Godrej Smart, who is pitching into a new arena viz. Call Centre support services etc. I repeatedly asked them, would my Refrigerator be covered under your customeer support services, since the brand which I am using belong to your competition. They said, yes, Godrej Smart is covering all the brands. Somehow, I got trapped by the above two sales executives of Godrej and entered into a contract for three years. Immediately I made the payment of Rs.1400/-. On 16th of April or so, a technician visited my office and said, no there are lot of complaints on this refrigerator, we would not be able to do this service, you may need to incurr additional cost. I know the fact that my refrigerator is old and are having issues, that is the reason why I entered into a contract. I never expected that Godrej kind of a respected family in this country would cheat an individual like me.
|Solution of your complaint||I do not want to enter into a contract with Godrej Smart. I made a payment of Rs.1400/- vide cheque No.834628 dated 9th April 2006 drawn on HDFC Bank, I need this money back within 3 working days, since I tried reaching Godrej Smart people from the last one month. If they are not able to give it in 3 working days, I need the interest @ 24% per annum. |
|Action||I would definitely pass on the paper which I have with me to the Media and would definitely file a case with the Consumer Court. |
