I took a personal loan of Rs.2 lac from Barclays Captal Finance,Ghazipur Branch,Delhi in the month of August.I was given a cheque of Rs.1,93,707 after deduction of processing fee.

Mr.Nirupam(asst manager) was handling my case.

In the month of January 2009 I requested them to close my loan account and I would pay the balance outstanding.They told me that the foreclosure charge would be 6% of the outstanding Balance.(I was informed that the outstanding balance amounts to approximately Rs.1,86,000).They also told me that if the loan closed after paying 6th installment the processing charge would be 4%.I agreed and again requested on 2nd February to close my account after my sisth installment on 3rd Feb.

Mr.Nirupam told me that it takes a weeks time for closing the account.I asked him for calculation but he told me that your calculation along with NO Due Certificate would be given only after the cheque would be encashed.

They asked me for a cheque of Rs.1,94,793 including a buffer interest of approximately 2,600/-which they told me to refund after the cheque would be encashed.I gave them cheque on 8th of February 2009 and told Mr.Nirupam to put my cheque in high value clearing so that the cheque would be cleared from my bank the next day but they deposited the cheque after 4-5 days so as to adjust the buffer interest they told me to refund.The cheque was cleared from my bank on 14th February.I made an SMS to Mr.Nirupam on 12th February 2009 because he was not picking-up my calls just to ask him about non presentation of my cheque and also asked for refund and No Due Certificate.

Till date I have not received any positive response from them.I have niether received my refund nor I received my calculations along with NO DUE Certificate.
