I was contacted by Airtel executives over the phone to get my pre-paid connection changed to post-paid connection with the same mobile number. I agreed, and Airtel executive Mr. Chandru visited my residence on 27th Feb. 2009, and collected the required documents and handed over a Post paid SIM for Rs 248/- plan, bearing the number ----------- after which I paid him Rs. 300/- towards deposit. I was told that the SIM shall be activated within 2 working days. Till date it is not activated. I contacted the Airtel outlets and got in touch with Mr. Sunil, as I was not able to reach Mr. Chandru. Mr. Sunil assured me that within 2-3 days it shall be enabled, but nothing has happened till date. 

Solution of your complaintEither the SIM has to be activated within 24 hrs. or Airtel has to repay my deposit amount of Rs. 300/- plus compensation for the trouble I have undertaken since 28th Feb. 09.  
ActionI may have to approach Consumer Court.
