I had booked 2 tickets for DEVD through the PVR websites for February 21, 2009 (3.35 pm show) at PVR Mulund, through my HDFC Bank Credit Card for an amount of Rs. 165.00. However, I did not receive any confirmation for the tickets or any mail / sms from PVR for the same. My booking history also showed as "nil" on their website.
I therefore once again tried to book the aforesaid tickets through my another credit card (HSBC this time). But the second time also, the tickets were not booked.
However, I later came to know from the above banks, i.e. HDFC and HSBC, that the said amounts of Rs. 165/- each were debited from my credit card account in favour of PVR cinemas.
The PVR websites does not provide any phone number whatsoever for redressal of issues but advises customers to e-mail any issue regarding online booking to email@example.com. I accordingly sent a mail to the said address on the same day (February 20, 2009) requesting them to resolve the matter. However, I did not receive any response from them.
I sent follow-up mails to the above address on February 25, February 27 and March 16 but have not received any reply, whatsoever from PVR. In the meantime, the said amounts of Rs. 165/- each have reflected in the respective card statements for HSBC and HDFC.
I would be grateful if you could take up the matter with PVR Cinemas and resolve the issue.
