Had purchased Country Club Membership from Pune. The membership was taken on two main premises
1. Access to clubs in Mumbai
2. Allotment of land at Kollad
This was taken in writing from them and was discussed with the sales team and was promised by them.
Date wise details:
21st August 08: Received a proposal for Country Club membership. The offer letter clearly stated that we could get access to all clubs Pan India.
23rd August 08: Received a email confirmation that the land will be allotted in my name at Kollad.
Received the membership letter which said that we could not access any clubs in Mumbai
Also no land was allotted.
24 Octobrer: Complained to Customer service Pune. Had a series of call with Abhijeet the service head and the sales team who confirmed the misselling.
23 November 08: Met customer service head Mr Subba Roa at Mumbai. He promised me that he will resolve the issue. He accepted that there are many such cases of misselling and they are taking action against them.
24 November 08: Wrote a detailed mail to Subba Roa. Who forwarded to Pune but no response. Post series of call Mr Subba Rao escalated the matter to Mr Kashyap Country wide customer service head.
23 Decemeber 08: Mr Kashyap confirmed he will need some more time to refund. However verbally through various calls he assured me he will arrange for a refund as there is a genuine misselling.
6 February 09: Received a confirmation by SMS from Mr Kashyap that he would get the refund cheque by 20 Feb confirmed.
A lot of calls and false promises made in between.
13 March 09: Got an SMS from Mr Kashyap that Mr Ragvendher Chowdhary Sales Head Pune confirms there is no misselling and hence there is no refund.
