Hi All,

This is to bring to your notice that we has been cheated by Safdarjang Motors (Udyog Vihar Phase 4).

My younger brother (Mr Virag Agar) purchased a Hyundai i10 Car (Sportz variant) from Safdarjang Motors on May 01 2009. As soon as we reached home after picking up the car from Safdarjang Motors, I found out that the odometer reading already read 135 KM

I enquired immediately from Sales person from Safdarjang Motors Mr Prasoon Roy about this and he told me that " Sir your car has been to various Road shows and Malls for Display and that is why there are a few extra kilometers on the odometer".

4 days back we noticed that the colour of one of the Door handle knob (back seat) was Black in Colour and the colour of rest of the 3 door handles was Silver (Chrome Finished) . Also the speakers of that door was not giving any sound (i10 SPORTZ model comes with a inDASH CD player along with 4 speakers).

I again visited Safdarjang Hyundai to report this problem on Sunday 10th may. The Technician (in front of us and sales person Mr Prasoon Roy) opened the door panel to see what was the problem in the speaker. To our astonishment we found out that there was no speaker. Out of 4, one speaker was missing.

Safdarjang Motors admitted that out of 4 doors, one door is of a lower variant of i10 (which does not comes with a speaker and the Chrome finish on door Handles) and the other 3 doors were of i10 Sportz.

I visited Safdarjang Motors today (11th may 2009) talked with the Sales Manager (Mr Vipin) on how this misconnect happened. He talked dirty and rudely and blamed us that we should have checked this car before delivery and now since few days have already been passed he cannot do anything. He straight away told us that we can do whatever we want. He told me to go to Police, go to court and we will not help you.

I asked you guys for HELP. I feel cheated and humiliated after what has happened at the Safdarjung Motors today.

I would need answers on a few questions. See below

1) Why was I handed over a used Car at the first place. 130 KM already on the odometer reading. The car has been on displays and road shows. Why this wasn't being informed prior to the delivery.

2) One door knob was Black and other 3 door knobs are Silver finished. Why ?

3) Why one speaker is missing from my car ?. Even the staff of the Safdarjang Motors acknowledged that 1 door is fitted of a lower model of i10 and other 3 doors were of i10 Sportz Variant.

If this type of Customer Service Hyundai and its dealers provide to their customers, I am sorry to say that this would be the last car for me and my family from Hyundai.

 

Solution of your complaint1) Either Replace my Car 2) Compensate accordingly as they have given me a used Car
