I had purchased a fully automatic, front loading LG Washine machine from LG SHoppe CAMS Corner (P ) Ltd on 17-3-07. The machine was covered for ONE Year warranty. I have been renewing the AMC every year there-after. The last AMC was purchased on 16-3-09.
On 1st MAy09 the said washing machine stopped working . A complaint was lodged with LG Customer Complaint Cell ( Complaint NO. N 9C 50100572.
A representative came from LG , and after exmaning the machine informed us that the control panel needs to be changed, and that it will be done as soon as the part is available .
There after we have been following up on a daily basis, but to no avail . On 5th MAy , I sent a E: MAil to the Company. One Mr Gaurav Kanodia replied informing me taht the machine will be repaired in 24 hrs time. I followed it up on the mail on th 7th may and 11th mAY 09, AS ALSO DAILY ON PHONE to their customer complaiunt cell. They keep giving lame excuses .
It is surprising that till date nothing has been done.
I feel that not only have I wasted money in buying a so called Branded Machine, but also wasted in going in for an AMC.
