I recharged for rs 300/ online on ICICI bank site using my credit card.
My talk-time did not increase after the transaction. I called the customer service and the reps there were not able to coomunicate effectively. Apparently I asked for a supervisor and after a long wait got connected to Swapna. Swapna listened to my entire story and told that this recharge was not credited for talktime for got credited towards an offer. I clearly told her that I dont want any offer but she kept saying that this is for an offer and she cant help me. I insisted for a manager and then she put me on hold and came back to tell me that i have to wait for atleast 24-48 hrs to get this amount credited. I told her that I urgently needed to make some STD calls and needed to do an online recharge for talktime. She was clueless about the online recharge process. This has caused inconvinience to me in terms of not getting to talk to my mom when I want to.
How can a company decide to credit my money towards an offer they have chosen to without a customers consent . You have a facility to do an online recharge.
