My Airtel land-line no is 4079225 in Lucknow

I had given a request for change in plan from Rs 799/- Broad Band to Rs 250 Combo plan vide request no 625089 dated 17/03/09. I was told that it would take 10 days for activation and till such time Imay use Broadband at rate of original plan.

On 21st Mar09, I inquired with Airtel helpline and was told that it would take at least a wek for activation. Reference No is 70268651 dated 21/03/09.

On 25th Mar09, again I inquired with Airtel helpline and was told that it would take at least a wek for activation. Reference No is 70866049 dt 25/03/09.

Finally on 4th April09, i was informed that the plan is changed.

Surprisingly when I received the bill, it was much more than even original plan and on inquiry the Airtel helpline states that the plan was changed on 19th March itself and net uses after that are charged differently. They are unable to reply to the question that why I was not informed when I asked on 21st and 25th of March09, if plan was activated on 19th.

Theyve refused to revise the bill. 

Solution of your complaintAirtel should send a revised bill as per earlier plan till 4th of April09.
