On January 5, 2006 I sent a package that contained a ring to be sized from The UPS Store# 0484 to Jam Creations Repair Dept. The mailing cost was prepaid by the vendor and I attached the pre-printed mailing label to the package. That was the last time I saw my ring. I tracked my packages progress (TRACKING# 1Z 055 E81 37 1517 889 7) and apparently there was some delivery address complications. It was finally delivered to a different address that was obtained by UPS. On May 15, 2006 I sent an email to UPS requesting to enter a claim for the lost package. On May 16, 2006 I tried to submit a claim on the UPS website. I was told that a report cannot be initiated for this package on UPS.com because the origin or destination for the package is OUTSIDE THE US!!! The package was being sent to New York! On May 18, 2006 I called UPS and spoke with Aquita in the Investigations Dept. She told me that the address where the package was delivered was a part of JAM Creations. She then said that she would call the New York branch that delivered it and have them call me within half an hour. I never received a call from them.

Solution of your complaintHopefully I will get my ring back or the value of my ring. Even though I did not purchase additional insurace on the package, I did not feel the need to since the delivery address was preprinted on the label. I do have my appraisal value papers along with purchase receipt.
ActionI guess I would have to go public with my complaint and contact one of my local t.v. news stations that handle consumer problems and then airs them during their news broadcast.
