I have a Maruti 800 DLX A/C,since 3rd Aug-2003.I have purchased it from Khiviraj Automobiles-Chennai.The first year service was very rosy and then came my nightmares.I have an extended warranty totally for 4 years,and for the past One year my cars service is not to my satisfaction. Every time I leave the car for servicing the bills are not less than Rs.3000/-.In Feb06 I had given my car for servicing and there were a lots of parts changed and as expected they were not covered under the warranty clause.I also work for a manufacturing company and I know that the service revenue is a major factor,I was charged some Rs.6000/-,but again I had to leave my car for servicing on 29th April-2006,this was majorly for the speedo-meter float not working,since I had plans to drive out of station for the next two days,I had specifically told one Mr.Alagumuthu,to do a complete check on the car and that I should not have any technical snags on the way.I took delivery in the very same evening.I had paid again another Rs.3000/-My A/C stopped functioning in the morning,that was a Sunday and I said still lets travel,On the way just 8kms away from Ponicherry,my car stopped and would not start.I had my wife and two small kids stranded in the middle of the road along with me.My wife had to push the car while I was at the wheel to a safe place.I had contacted this guy at Khiviraj Motors and he gave me the reference of Vasanthi Automobiles at Pondy,I had called them and to my shock,I heard this guy tell me to push my car since its only about 8 kms,Is this the way a customer should be treated,I was stranded for 3 hours and then through some of my known people I had organised for a local mechanic who was there in 30 mins and he identified the complaint to be "Timing Belt Cut",which he says is a regular routine check during the servising of any car.I had paid him Rs.750/- for a used timing belt which was fitted in my car.
When I had spoken to your Khiviraj People at Chennai,they are replying so irresponsibly and there is not even courtesy call to me till now,though they know everything about the problem I had faced.Buying a Bhoomi Brand-should cause me this many tantrums and nightmares?

Solution of your complaintAs a Proud Maruti Owner (So Called)I demand,that somebody from the company directly need to get in touch with me and get my car serviced,A/C replaced and replace the timing belt and bring my car again to good form. 
ActionI will be going to the "Forum For Consumers" and also release an article in the leading dailies about this pathetic response from MARUTI.
