On 1st of July I have requested the airtel employee Malliga M. (Ascendas Airtel showroom)to change my plan from postpaid to prepaid.
I have paid my outstanding bill and also have given my foto and address proof for prepaid conversion.
Paid Rs.150 and received the prepaid simcard too.
But still I am not able to receive any incoming calls or dial outgoing calls.
When called MALLIGA she says she got sms saying that the conversion has been successfully done and she has nothing to be done on her part and asked me to contact the customer care.
For the past two days I have made around 50 calls to customer care.
They say that they are juz front end ppl and they cant go anything from their side and I have to contact the airtel showroom where the request was made.
When called her again, she didnt pick the fone for one hour and then when she picked and she put me on hold for around 20 min and then said that i have call her up after 1/2 hr.
Every time she does the same thing.
I am really fed up of the airtel service.
Since I am in the need to the same number I have to bear this torture.
When discussed with my collegues and friends they say that its very common sight in airtel showrooms.
I have never seen such a worst service and bad handling of customer done in Ascendas showroom.
The response is worst.
Malliga is an inefficient, irresponsible and has juz half baked knowledge abt the airtel connectivity.
Bcos of these half baked ppl customers are at stake.She is not even aware of the procedure.
Doubt arises if they have undergone the primary induction training.
As, I dont know to whom she reports I am not able to launch the complaint to their head.
Its juz a small mail to show my concern.
If these defects are not looked into, then definitely ppl would lose hope on airtel.
