my mom in law smt Nirmala Pandey purchased Alto-Lxi ( REG NO-UP32BS7314 ving engine no as 3283409 and chasis no as 705385)on 11th of june2006 from Anand Motors Lucknow.
at the time of purchase it was insured through dealer by MARUTI INSURANCE (co partner ROYAL sundaram)bearing policy no.MP20030422.
Unfortunatley when her son MR Manoj Pandey was driving the car in Lucknow itself he met with an accident and right side of car was badly damaged on 18th june. He was on Drivers seat while i was accompanying him in the car.we appraoached to nearest dealer KTL workshop and they readily came forward for our help.after ving a look at car they asked for 10 days for repair works.
when we approached the dealer on 27 and 28th they informed us that more or less repair work is over but there is a minor defect in EPS system which is yet to be rectified. they asked for 1 or two days to address this problem.
after two days they informed us that EPS will be changed completley and it will require some money from your side.
when we lodged our complaint that if our vehicle is ensured through Maruti insurance why they are asking money for this part. they were silent and again asked that it will require another a week r so.it is also pertinent to mention here that at the time of survey this EPS problem was never diagnosed and disclosed to us.
today itself our car is still lying with KTL accidental repair shop and neither they are providing any satisfactory answer nor they are in a mood to deliver our car.
sir with a grt anguish and despair i am lodging this complaint as we dont know what will be the fate of my new car which is only one month old.

|Solution of your complaint||Maruti is an esteemed orgaisation but dealers are making fool of ourselves. they are only interested in making money and only selling the cars. when accident is met r any service is to be offered from their side they generally fail.
Maruti should come forward and should take stern action while dealing with such blackmailing type of situtations. |
|Action||i will go for any action which i will think suitable like moving to consumer court or to any other forum also |
