New prepaid connection taken on 29/5/06, mob.no.9816416185, SIM no.8991031205010969475. Line activated after checking formalities on 5/6/06. On 12/6/06 line was closed without any intimation. On speaking to agent in Chamba (name not told, mob.no.9816053633) it was told that the formalities were not complete. Since then, I have sent my formalities to the agent in Chamba two more times but my line has not been activated till date. A lot of money is getting lapsed which was feeded through cash card. The agent is keeping his mobile switched off. Complaint has been made to 121 thru SMS but no action has been taken. I have telephoned the Regional Office at Shimla but there too nobody is inclined to communicate regarding the matter. I am an Engineer in NHPC and it is not possible for me to leave my site to go to Airtel Office at Shimla to speak in person. I am disgusted about the services provided by Airtel and want to move to Consumer Court for compensation against monetory losses and undue harassment.
