I am just reporting a matter of poor performance of Videocon T.V. set purchased from M/s Akashdeep Electonics, Aligarh and gross negligence and non compliance of services supposed to be rendered by the Aligarh dealers on the complaints lodged by me.
It is to inform you that I purchsed one T.V. Set, Videocon Model No.5938, Che. No.883031591 from M/s Akashdeep Electronics, Aligarh vide above Cash Memo in 13.10.2003. From the date of its purchase not only once but at about dozen times I made complaint with your Aligarh dealer who gave me assurances to get the set attended to but he never did it. On only one occasion he deputed the mechanic to attend the T.V. Set who came to my residence and did something witht the set. But after the short period similar defects were again developed about which I reported to the dealers telephonically and even personally. Dealer then said that they are not simply sitting to send mechanics again and again and he asked me to take the Set. to his workshop. I took the set to his workshop two times but I am sorry to say that the mechanic of the firm was not physically available and I was forced to take the set back unattended.
Most disappointing thing which I want to point out here was the attitute and behavior of your Aligarh dealers Mr,. Ramesh Varshney and his son. The tone of the dealer was not only harsh, unbusinessliking but quite insulting to a respectable lady customer like me.
Your Brand is of high ranking in the Electronic market but it is spoiled because of ugly dealings by your dealers like Akashdeep Electronics who seem to be interested in the sale of a product but not for after sale services which is the main demand of business now a days to attract customers in the situation when there are many and many such brand in the market to compete. A customer is and should be interested to buy a product of high quality and satisfactory after sale services.
The defects and problems which were existing in the T.V. Set initially are still standing and the guarantee period which was given to us on the said set is going to expire which, I feel, is the main attention of the dealers. Now my patience has ended and I can not stay on simple oral assurances of the dealer, and therefore I am approaching you to intervene.

|Action||Let me add that I shall take the matter with the Customers Forum for rightful action and befitting penalty to the dealers like Akashdeep Electronics, Aligarhh. But before doing so I like you to see to these things yourself. I shall wait for a remedial action from you within 15 days from the date of this letter failing which I shall find no way out but to take legal course of action entirely at your risk and cost which please note |
