Title : 100 cc self start scooter

Complaint : Dear Sir, 28.05.04 This is to reconfirm that This is to inform u tht scooter ch/eng nos.039787/035929 purchased from chaudhry auto div in april 2000 was/is giving following problems even it hs bn attended. 1 Average of scooter during practically running is much less between 20 km/litre to 33km/litre records available than what is mentioned in your ad and was told at the time of purchase ie 50 km/litre.your ad reads like fill full tank of 7litre and drve 350 km.Pl make a note fuel efficiency studied by ur service engineer is not true in pratical running of vehicle. 2.Scooter was getting stopped at zero or lower positined throttle and average was recorded around 20 km/litre after it was serviced recently ,it took three times attation of ur service engineers against our followup to adjust.Immediately after scooter was attended we found scooter not getting stopped at ignition swtch off.We hv disconnected the battery lead and there after scooter is not in frequent use as it needs kick to start which is not dependable as most of times it needs more than should be requird kicks(ONE OR TWO MAX) . This problem hs occured 4th time and was communicated earlier immediately after it came to our notice.May I know action taken to eliminate such kind of repetition of problems. CD unit got out of order three times. My children hv asked me to get them cycle as they feel more comfortable and secured respected than to hv their ride on this scooter. 3. Scooter doesnot hv user friendly chock and location at which it hs bn provided is a shame to advancement we hv touched and technology available/reachable at present. 4. Scooter driving pleasure/average/need of maintance is not compareable (at much lower rank) with KINETIC HONDA "96 MODEL available with our relative and another model available with our neighbour. 5.After scooter was attended it still gives shocks. 6. Rust at joints in new body replaced at my cost was shown to your rep from pitam pur not attended so far.What action taken? How this complaint hs bn closed? 7. Running /pick up engine sound is not smooth before and after scooter was attended even after clutch assy was changed at my cost. 8. As u wrote in ur mail that to get optium performance regular maintance and replacement of parts is reqd in ur product(manufactured by ur company) it is not acceptable as we hv not experienced in quality products of other leading brands/suppliers in INDIA and ABROAD hoewer periodical service is suggested by all other leading manufacturers.Performance of vehicle was not improved after suggested change of parts at my cost by ur nominated service station. M/s Mitubhishi hs advertised quality of their product and same was handed over to ur rep from pitampur . 9. Intesity of light at night is not acceptable as it is low even after head beam was replaced at my cost. 10.Stand gives unpleasent irritating feeling /sound and while putting on stand or unputting stand.Further more it needs much force to put on and unput stand.Stand was replaced by you. 11. Body posture while sitting on vehicle gives back pain. 12. Pl note our complaint is related to ur product quality ,service quality (can be explained when u r positive and make urself prepared or believe to take customer`s feedback) as we found no betterment or elimination of our complaint after vehile was serviced /attended. 13. I donot agree to ur writting in ur mail that performance of scooter was satisfactory when ur qc man visited from ur plant rather he noted down the complaints and commited to me to resolve the problems.He also took photocopies of my experiences with ur dealers and problems faced with the vehicle. 14. Tyre s of vehicle are getting very fast wear and tear.Same rate of tyre wear not possible with leading tyre brands like MRF,CEAT. 15. Gives chi chi like sound, differnt sonds of engine at different speeds of vehicle and very unpleasent sound at deaccelariting vehicle. 16. Brakes needs tightining more frequently.The frequency of tightining of brake is more than any other vehicle and even low technically involved products like cycle and rikshaw does not demand tightining in such a close interval. 17.We want to feel pround owner of this product but instead of best of my efforts and ur attending to it hs not helped any improvement or acceptance of product quality performance. 18. Chasis touches speed breaker made by local govt authorities as per defined norms, pwd . 18. I therefore request u to get the vehicle inspected ,prepare action plan and targets and get the vehicle okeyed to the satisfaction of undersigned/family users and if it is not possible than get the vehicle replaced/full amount of scooter,cost of registration,insurance, including cost of extra fuel burnt and cost of prematured falure of parts refunded. kindly acknowledge action plan to set right the vehicle.
