It just 4 days since I bought my Tata India Xeta GLG model, Regn # WB-02-W2875. Today morning, it just refused to start after I had switched off the engine in a major traffic signal. The car thereafter just did not start. I had to push the car for approx 2 Kms to my office at Sector-V, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Imagine my scenario.....There I was alone in the middle of the road......with cars all bumper to bumper......caught up in a major signal.......profusely perspiring as it was hot and murky......with cars honking all around me, cursing me. I had contacted Lexus Motors executive who in turn contacted their workshop at Budge-Budge Trunk Road. The help was supposed to reach me within 1 hr, but it did arrive after 3 hours. The mechanics worked on the car and said that Sorry.........the car has to be taken to the workshop. I had no other option....I let them take it, with a promise to return it by tomorrow evening duly repaired.
Under the circumstances I am left without a car for the next 2 days?
|Solution of your complaint||Return the car ---- thoroughly checked ---- with an apology letter in a Tata Motors Ltd letterhead and certifying that the entire car has been thouroughly checked in all respects and that if any thing (even minor) ever goes wrong, the car would be replaced at no cost to me. |
